2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid review

On December 1, 2013August 28, 2018 By Benjamin YongIn Automotive, ReviewsLeave a comment

The all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 is quite a departure from the G37 sedan we’ve come to know, and that will eventually be replaced. This is not only from a looks standpoint, where the Q50 is much angrier looking than its soft and curvy predecessor, but also in the technology department where the luxury division of …

Another model to receive the uber-luxe Black Prestige upgrade is this 2026 Genesis GV80 Coupe. Coated in glossy Vik Black paint, pretty much all the trim accessories are, well, black, like the 22-inch wheels, LED headlight housings, brake calipers and emblems. It’s similar inside with the Obsidian Black Monotone interior where the door handles, climate controls and even steering where buttons are ⚫️’d out. Is the 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO necessary? No. Is it actually kind of awesome? Well yes… yes it is. In addition to the Stealth Grey two-tone paint, red trim, kitted-out exterior and 22-inch forged aluminum wheels, the 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 has been tuned to coax out an extra 35 horses for a total of 460. Ford’s Mustang Mach-E was subtlety enhanced last year with the addition of a Sport Appearance Package giving lower models, like this Premium grade, the GT look with a blacked-out grille, 19-inch glossy wheels, red Brembo brakes, front lip spoiler and more. The optional BlueCruise hands-free driving system is also updated to version 1.5 adding an autonomous lane change feature. The fifth-gen Lincoln Navigator borrows design inspiration from siblings the Aviator and Nautilus with slim LED headlamps, light bar intersecting the creased repeating star grille, sloping roof, full-width tail lights and standard 22-inch alloy wheels. The 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 hauls and the interior is beautiful as expected with pillar-to-pillar display, plush leather upholstery, three rows of power seats with all the fixings, 28-speaker Revel stereo and an unexpectedly sporty flat-bottom steering wheel. The Hyundai Palisade receives the trail-ready XRT Pro upgrade for 2026. Packing a 3.5-litre V6 this trim features a rear eLSD, an extra inch of ground clearance, all-terrain 255/60/18 rubber, Mud/Sand/Snow drive modes, factory red tow hooks and more. The SUV also has a cool dark-themed exterior and interior motif and still boasts a lot of passenger room in all three rows. The Genesis G90 elevates its flagship sedan status further with the introduction of the 2026 Prestige Black trim level. Available in Vik Black paint or the pictured Uyuni White colour, this top-of-the-line grade features darkened details like headlamps, Guilloche badging, brake calipers and 21-inch wheels on the outside, and Black Ash open-pore wood and monotone Nappa leather upholstery on the inside. While we wait for the ~1,100-horsepower Cayenne Electric to arrive next year, this recently-refreshed Cayenne E-Hybrid is more than a just a placeholder with its updated inside-and-out styling and quicker 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 paired with new electric motor. A bigger 25.9-kilowatt battery allows the mid-size SUV to travel around 40 kilometers in zero emissions mode. The 2025 Lexus LX goes hybrid for the first time with the 700h. The powertrain consists of a 3.4-litre twin-turbocharged V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission and an electric motor nestled in-between, sending 457-horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. The numbers should indicate this partially-electrified SUV is tuned for performance and not efficiency, as I was hovering above 15.0 L/100 km of fuel economy in mixed city and highway driving. The 2025 Toyota 4Runner receives its first-ever Platinum trim. The grade-topping model comes standard with the more powerful 326-horse i-FORCE MAX 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The $6,617 option also includes blacked-out exterior details, tow tech package, head-up display and this premium Supersonic Red paint colour.
