Do you ever feel like it’s impossible to match the fuel consumption estimates you see on the EnerGuide labels stuck to the windows of new vehicles? Well hopefully that’s going to change, as Natural Resources Canada has moved to a new testing model for all 2015 light-duty vehicles and beyond.
Going from a two-cycle process to a five-cycle, what that basically means is there are additional variables added to the evaluation process such as air conditioner usage, cold engine temperature operation and higher speed driving with more stop-and-go manoeuvres.
