Cruise into the fifth annual Ultimate Car Show this weekend at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver on Saturday, July 20 in Coquitlam. This free, family-friendly event features classic, muscle and specialty car owners showing off their works of art and lets enthusiasts check out some of the most unique rides from all around the province.
Those interested in registering their vehicles may do so for $20 leading up to and including the day of the event (cash only for the latter), entering them for the chance to take home top honours in one of seven categories: Best Truck, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Classic Collector, Best Hot Rod, Best Muscle Car and Best of Show. Proceeds go towards Tri-City Transitions, which helps support individuals who have experienced domestic violence.
“With each passing year, I’m always blown away by the unique and frankly spectacular cars that get featured in the Ultimate Car Show,” said Rick Francoeur, co-owner of organizer 360 Fabrication specializing in custom builds. “This event is always a highlight of the year for us, and with the registration proceeds going to charity — it feels really good to give back.”
On top of all the automobile eye-candy, attendees can fill their stomachs at the by-donation pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. while all the vendors and participants are getting ready. During the event, there will also be beer garden as well as BBQ burgers and hot dogs available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Live entertainment is set to take place throughout the day with acts including the Reckless Ultimate Bryan Adams Tribute and more.
Pre-registration is now open: call 360 Fabrication at 1-855-859-3608 for more information.
