This year’s hush-hush Dîner en Blanc — an elegant, pop-up “chic picnic” — was held at David Lam Park in Yaletown. About 3,500 people, dressed head-to-toe in white, sat and dined while music played in the background and face-painted dancers performed around the perimeter. Taking place in a secret location each year, the venue is announced an hour before the event officially begins. Dîner en Blanc happens annually in different parts of the world, and was started 25 years ago in France. Read more.
