Subaru is airing a new TV commercial about the new 2015 Impreza that focuses on the emotional driving experience of the younger 25 to 35 set, rather than hardcore professionals rallying in a desert or forest.
Some of the lines in the video include “from birthdays to bad days,” and “potholes, mud holes and bleep-holes.” Yes, there is subtle referencing to the car’s signature all-wheel drive system, like when two girls drive through a muddy dirt road, but it’s more about how the Impreza fits into everyday life.
The Japanese car company partnered with Toronto advertising agency Red Urban for the project. Here’s the commercial below.
