With seven months of rain a year, the struggle is real for lovers of nice kicks here in the Lower Mainland. But a ray of sunshine is coming down next month when The Ultimate Sneaker Show Vancouver takes over the convention centre downtown on June 16 from 12 to 6 p.m.
Self-described as “a coalition of sneakers, fashion and art,” visitors can expect 10,000 square-feet of space where more than 100 vendors will displaying and hawking massive collections of shoes, clothes and accessories. It’s also an opportunity for sneakerheads to meet and trade with like-minded individuals, so people are encouraged to bring their freshest pairs (non-vendors are permitted to bring in a maximum of two to three pairs at a time, and re-entry to the show is allowed).
Tickets are on sale now online — $21.99 for one adult admission, children five years old and younger get in free. For vendors, a table costs $129, or $103 if more than one is purchased. For more information, visit theultimatesneakershow.com/the-ultimate-sneaker-show-vancouver.
Stay tuned for our coverage of the show next month!
