To welcome the arrival of the new seventh-gen Volkswagen GTI, Clarkdale Volkswagen had a special VIP night at their dealership on Main Street in Vancouver last Wednesday. About 150 customers, enthusiasts and curious individuals registered for the event that featured a short tour, presentations, and a chance to sit inside the cars that just arrived a couple of weeks ago. There was also a display inside the service bay showcasing each of the previous generations of GTIs that were brought by members of local VW clubs — even a mint-condition silver Mark I model made the trip.
