Rocky Mountain Flatbread is giving families a couple of fun options to spend New Year’s Eve involving pizza making, face painting, live entertainment and an early countdown. At their East Van location on Main Street, Kids can jam out with a local acoustic guitarist while putting together their own pizzas ($7.95) and getting their faces decorated before counting down to 2016 at 6:30 p.m. Cover is $8 per person.
Over at 1876 1st St. in Kits, Zox of the Forest will be performing storytelling, balloon twisting and juggling. A $20 ticket includes a choice of an artisan pizza as well as dessert. Two time slots are available: 4 to 6 p.m. and 6:15 to 8:15 p.m.
